CERAH (Care, Engagement and Rehabilitation for the incarcerated: A Holistic approach) is an aftercare engagement programme specifically designed to guide incarcerated individuals on their spiritual journey towards becoming a Servant of the Merciful and attaining the highest levels of atonement for their past sins.
Throughout this comprehensive four-week programme, supervisees from Selarang Prison Complex who are going through the Community-Based Programme (Day Release Scheme) will attend eight modules. Each module focuses on different aspects of holistic spiritual and personal development. These valuable lessons are based on the eight standards outlined in the Quran (25: 63-77).
The programme takes place every Sunday, from 10 am to 1 pm, at the multi-purpose hall on the fourth level of Sallim Mattar Mosque.
By joining CERAH, ex-offenders can embark on a transformative spiritual journey that provides them with essential guidance and support as they seek redemption and strive for personal growth.
This engagement program is designed to guide you on your journey to become a servant of the merciful. As a servant of the merciful, you will attain the highest levels of atonement of sins, blessed by Allah.

The Servant of The Merciful is the prestigious form of servanthood that is blessed by Allah with the highest levels of atonement for sins. In this 4-week programme, the supervisees of Institution S2 of Selarang Prison Complex undergo 8 modules which give an overview of the various aspects of holistic spiritual & personal development according to the 8 standards of becoming a Servant of The Merciful as described in the Quran (25: 63 – 77).
This program started on 12 February 2023 and is still on-going.

i. Provide spiritual & personal development guidance to supervisees based on the attributes of the Servant of the Merciful, fostering the integration of these qualities into their everyday experiences.
Desired Outcomes:
i. Supervisees will experience a spiritual enlightenment, improve mental health, and enhance personal relationships.
ii. Supervisees will be better equipped to cope with the challenges of post-prison life and prepare for reintegration into society.
iii. Supervisees will be empowered to inspire and mentor others on their spiritual and personal journey, creating a positive ripple effect.
