Perjalanan Selepas Kematian
"He is the One Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds."(Surah Al-Mulk, 67:2)
Masjid Sallim Mattar successfully conducted its quarterly Perjalanan Selepas Kematian crash course, bringing together members of the community for a meaningful session on preparing for the inevitable journey to the Hereafter. Guided by Ustaz Muhassan Ariffin, participants gained valuable insights into the stages after death based on the teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah, while reflecting on the importance of strengthening their faith and performing righteous deeds.
The session encouraged attendees to deepen their understanding of life's ultimate purpose and served as a timely reminder to remain steadfast in worship, sincere in repentance, and conscious of the legacy they leave behind. Through engaging discussions and practical reflections, participants were inspired to view death not as an end, but as the beginning of the eternal life that awaits every soul.
We pray that the knowledge shared will continue to benefit all attendees, inspiring them to live with greater purpose, sincerity, and preparedness for the life to come.
Rehlah Ilmu ke Masjid
Hang Jebat
"The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day..." (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:18)
Participants of our Rehlah Ilmu enjoyed a meaningful educational visit to Masjid Hang Jebat, where they explored the mosque's rich history, distinctive architecture, and its role in serving the Muslim community. The visit offered valuable insights into the mosque's development and contributions, allowing participants to gain a deeper appreciation of Singapore's Islamic heritage and the significance of mosques as centres of worship, learning, and community engagement.

Beyond the educational experience, the programme also provided an opportunity for participants to strengthen bonds of ukhuwah through meaningful conversations, shared reflections, and collective learning. The rehlah fostered a greater sense of appreciation for the diversity and uniqueness of our local mosques while encouraging participants to remain connected to the wider Muslim community.
